I don't want to forget this moment...ever! Tonight Keelyn made a huge leap towards reading. She spelled out all of the letters to the words BOOM, BOOM and then MOO, MOO on her very own! Then went on to learn to pronounce them. I call it reading when you look at word and say it out loud.
BOOM, BOOM...MOO, MOO. Keelyn, I am AMAZED by you!
Watching her fill with excitement to learn, and bask in pride at her success fills my heart. These are the rewards of parenting a toddler. And worth every battle.
